Andrea Notargiacomo CV

Dr. Andrea Notargiacomo (PhD in Physics) is permanent staff researcher at the Institute of Photonics and Nanotechnologies (IFN) of the CNR in Rome since 2009. He has been in charge of the micro/nano-fabrication facility of IFN-CNR from 2012 to 2014. From 2018 he is responsible for the IFN- CNR activities within the "NanoMicroFab" Open Research Infrastructure which provides technological support to academic and private entities operating in the field of micro/nano-electronics (www.nanomicrofab.eu, funded by Regione Lazio - Call for Research Infrastructures). He is member of the Inter-Institute Virtual Laboratory of the CNR "TECH4BIO", providing multidisciplinary technological skills for applications in the biomedical and biotech fields. His expertise includes micro/nano-fabrication, realization and study of devices based on graphene and semiconductors, synthesis of ZnO nanostructures and their integration into devices. He has been the coordinator of the CNR research unit in “FIRB Futuro in Ricerca” project funded by MIUR-ITALY on the realization and study of ZnO micro and nanostructures for nanogenerators.

He is co-author of more than 120 scientific publications in peer-reviewed international scientific journals (1519 citations, h-index = 20, as from Web of Science).

1999: Consultant to the Institute of Photonics and Nanotechnology (IFN-CNR) for the "Development of protocols for cantilever motion aimed to the implementation of scanning probe field-assisted lithography".

1998-1999:  Consultant  to  Polo  Nazionale  Bioelettronica,  PST-Elba  for  the "Optimization  of  a  scanning  probe  microscope  aimed  to  improve  the  user  interface  and  the nanolithographic capabilities".
